Wellbeing Workshops
Not lectures. Short, practical sessions that leave you with one thing you can try straight away.

What this service offers
Wellbeing advice often assumes you have unlimited energy. Our workshops are built for people whose energy and health go up and down.
Each session focuses on a small number of practical tools — from ways to notice stress early to planning a day around your energy — and you are free to adapt anything that does not suit your body or situation.
Who it’s for
- People managing long-term illness, fatigue, stress or low mood
- People preparing to return to work or other activity
- Anyone who wants practical, realistic tools rather than “just think positive”
What you can expect
- A calm, predictable structure explained at the start
- One or two practical skills, practised together if you want to
- No pressure to share, perform or take part in anything that does not feel right
- Something small and specific to try afterwards
What support may include
Shaped around what you need
Every person is different, so support is tailored. Depending on your goals, it may include:
- Stress awareness and early warning signs
- Energy management and pacing
- Building gentle daily routines
- Setting boundaries and saying no
- Coping strategies for difficult days
- Mindfulness approaches that do not ask you to “empty your mind”
What this service doesn’t provide
Being clear about our limits helps you get the right help. This service does not offer:
- Medical or psychological treatment
- Physical exercise programmes

Questions about wellbeing workshops
More answers on our FAQs page.
Do I need any experience of mindfulness or wellbeing courses?
No. Sessions are designed for complete beginners, and for people who have tried other courses that did not work for them.
What if something in a session does not work for me?
Skip it or adapt it. Facilitators will always suggest alternatives — the tools are there to serve you, not the other way round.
