About Monique

At the heart of KND, Monique is our gentle, steady presence — the person who holds space for our community with kindness, empathy, and deep understanding. As our Wellbeing & Mental Health Support Lead, she brings over 10 years of heartfelt experience walking alongside children, neurodivergent individuals, families, and marginalised people across France and the UK.

Specialising in trauma-informed practice and culturally responsive mental health support, Monique meets every person exactly where they are. She understands that wellbeing isn’t one-size-fits-all — especially for our diaspora communities navigating two worlds. Her work is rooted in deep respect for culture, identity, and the unique strengths each person brings.

From supporting non-verbal autistic children to find their voice, to walking alongside families in crisis, to leading community workshops that heal and empower — Monique brings her whole heart to everything she does. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Health and Wellbeing in Society, works closely alongside therapists, SENCOs, and mental health practitioners, and is fluent in both French and English.

Monique’s mission at KND

To ensure no one in our community struggles alone — that every person has a safe place to turn, a listening ear, and practical, compassionate support to grow, heal, and thrive.
